The Black Silver Arowana is a stunning juvenile form of the South American Arowana, known for its dark body coloration and striking orange to reddish fins when young. As they mature, their coloration gradually transitions to the classic silver appearance of adult Silver Arowanas.

These majestic fish are powerful swimmers and make an impressive centerpiece in large aquariums. They are surface predators and require plenty of swimming space along with a tightly covered tank, as arowanas are excellent jumpers.
