An excellent community fish for peaceful tetras, rasboras, Corys, dwarf cichlids, and other small, non-aggressive species. Keep in a school of at least 6, preferably 10 or more, to encourage natural behavior.

⭐ HIGHLIGHT

A beautiful and uncommon schooling tetra featuring a reflective golden-green stripe and a bold dark marking near the tail. Its “January” name comes from Lake Hyanuary near Manaus, Brazil.

📝 CARE NOTES

Keep in a fully cycled aquarium with clean, stable water and gentle-to-moderate flow. Provide plants, driftwood, shaded areas, and open swimming space. A dark substrate and subdued lighting help enhance its shimmering coloration.
