Provide soft sand or smooth, fine substrate to protect its sensitive barbels. Maintain clean, well-oxygenated water with regular partial water changes. Include plants, driftwood, and shaded hiding areas. Feed sinking foods directly—Corys cannot survive only on leftover food.
