An excellent community fish for peaceful tetras, rasboras, Corys, dwarf cichlids, and other non-aggressive species. Keep in a school of at least 6, preferably 8–10 or more. Small groups may occasionally display fin-nipping behavior.

⭐ HIGHLIGHT

A rare Penguin Tetra featuring a champagne-silver body, bold black lateral stripe, and vivid red fins. Like other Thayeria, it often swims in a distinctive head-up position.

📝 CARE NOTES

Provide a fully cycled aquarium with plants, driftwood, shaded areas, and plenty of open swimming space. A dark substrate and subdued lighting enhance its coloration. Maintain a proper-sized school and feed a varied diet in small portions.
