Best kept with peaceful nano fish, Pygmy Corys, Otocinclus, adult dwarf shrimp, and snails. Avoid large, aggressive, or highly active species. Keep in a group of at least 8–10, with larger groups providing greater confidence and better coloration.

⭐ HIGHLIGHT

A tiny blackwater tetra featuring an intense ruby-red body and delicate translucent fins. Its rich coloration creates a beautiful glowing effect when displayed in a large group.

📝 CARE NOTES

Keep in a mature, densely planted aquarium with soft, stable water and gentle filtration. Provide driftwood, leaf litter, floating plants, shaded areas, and a dark substrate. Because of its tiny mouth, offer very small foods. It is sensitive to deteriorating water quality and sudden parameter changes.
