Provide soft sand or a smooth, fine substrate to protect its sensitive barbels. Maintain clean, well-oxygenated water with regular partial water changes. Include plants, driftwood, and shaded hiding areas. Feed sinking foods directly, as Corys should not rely only on leftovers.
