Suitable for peaceful community fish that also thrive in cool, fast-moving water. Best kept in a group of at least 4–6. Individuals may chase each other away from preferred grazing areas, but serious injury is uncommon.

📝 CARE NOTES
Requires a mature aquarium with strong current, excellent oxygenation, and pristine water. Provide smooth rocks exposed to light so natural algae and biofilm can develop. Supplemental feeding is still essential. Avoid very warm, stagnant aquariums and never add this species to a newly established tank without sufficient biofilm.
